Team HoPM - that's us

Our team consists of permanent / full-time project managers and consultants as well as an extensive network of specialized associate project managers, coaches and trainers. We rely on a wide variety of professional experiences in different industries, work contexts and projects as well as adequate certifications, such as IPMA, PMI®, PRINCE2™, SCRUM, Kanban a.o.

It is important to us that we all pull together - our shared values provide valuable orientation for our daily work. They define our corporate culture and are an orientation for us in our personal and professional behavior.

We live:
Respect. Integrity. Openness. Sustainable impact. Project management in excellence.

Hauke Thun

| Managing Director

„Whoever goes on a journey should know his destination!“

In order to lead a project to success, it is important to know where the journey is going to. Only then can you recognize when you are going off-course. This also includes open communication. Commitment, straightforwardness and transparency - that is my maxim.

Sibylle Schmidtke

| Consulting

„My view sees numerous possibilities instead of complexity.“

What I particularly appreciate about working as a project manager is that my analytical and judgmental skills are just as much in demand here as my creativity and flexibility. Here I can combine strategic and conceptual thinking with practical operational solutions.

„Methodology and empathy“

For me, a certain degree of pragmatism and common sense is as much a part of good project management as the application of appropriate methods. It is also important to me to find a balance between team agreements and empathy for the concerns of the individual, thus creating a balance between give and take.

| Project Management

„There is no general solution.“

As the saying goes,"the way is the goal". But in project management, the goal determines the way - and this differs significantly from project to project. There is no general solution and no "we've always done it that way", but a tailor-made solution for a very specific project in a very specific situation. After all, you wouldn't try to travel through all of Europe's major cities with a single city map.

„The store has to be up and running for the team to do their best.“

At the end of the day, the books have to be right. If deadlines are met and supplies fit, the business is running. When we work together with our project managers, things run smoothly. That's why I like to make sure that our colleagues always have a home port where they can exchange ideas and feel comfortable.

„I've got the backs of the department experts.“

As a project manager, I see myself first and foremost as a moderator of an interdisciplinary team facing complex tasks. My job is then to support the team professionally with agile and classic methods on the path to joint success and to enable each individual to apply his or her expertise in a targeted and effective manner. Here is a selection of exciting projects: Viereck: More planning security through professionalization of project management.

"Strategic, goal-focused, customer-oriented."

For me, project management means to perceive the customer's needs in an optimal way and to lead the project to its goal in accordance with an individualized strategy consisting of efficient PM methodology as well as successful teamwork.

| Project Management

"Every project is different."

There is no such thing as the classic office routine in a project. As a project manager, I am constantly encountering new, complex situations with diverse customers and different teams. It is then up to me to find the best approach for the respective project situation in coordination with the client and to inspire the teams.

| Project Management

"Today's project management determines tomorrow's success."

For me, a project is the implementation of an innovative idea that generates future added value. For this to succeed, even in complex projects, goal-oriented project management is essential. The given resources form the framework, the team provides the necessary fun and what counts in the end - the joint success.

"Do good and talk about it."

With 300 projects at over 100 clients, we've already brought a number of projects to a successful conclusion. I make sure that this message gets through. What's particularly exciting is that every marketing channel has its own language and new ones are added. That's why I'm happy to be a contact person for our customers.

| Project Management

"Enabling a change of perspective."

As a project manager, I see it as my responsibility to help the team realize their full potential. By changing perspectives, teams are challenged and new ways of solving problems are found as well as working methods are strengthened. The goal is to make work easier in the long term. In a project I am a mediator and want to identify the most effective way to success together.

Ole Salzer

| Project Management

"The best way to cope with crises is to be ahead of them."

For me, project management means the combinatorics of social and methodical aspects to achieve an ex ante determined goal. The result should also contribute sustainably to the success of a company. In this context, the methodological understanding ensures the selection of the right path to successful completion, while the social component brings a heterogeneous team together and motivates it for the tasks at hand. One cannot exist without the other.
